Step by step through the Geopark
Welcome walkers! Welcome to the Villuercas region and the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark, offering you an area of 2544 hectares of magnificent nature. Whether your visit here is short or long you will not fail to be impressed by the diversity of nature to be seen. Whatever the season, your eyes can feast on a cornucopia of the treasures of geology and nature: flowers, plants, trees, fossils and the craggy mountains and breathtaking valleys which form the spectacular Geopark.
This region has much to offer, not only to specialized birdwatchers, photographers or artists,
but especially to walkers.
Or, for those who just want to sit and enjoy the smells and sights the scenery will fulfil every one of your wishes.
|In this region we offer you walks that each lead through surprisingly landscape, following forest tracks and land roads and avoiding asphalted roads as much as possible. An encounter with a red deer, marter, mongoose or genet is certainly possible. You can join each walk individually or combine several walks into a personal package. If you need accommodation do not hesitate to ask us as we can recommend or book for you a casa rural, hotel or holiday house.|
